Alleged Mustang School Resource Officer accused of 2nd Degree Rape - CASE CLOSED

Wesley Hunter Jr was allegedly a School Resource Officer for Mustang Public Schools for part of the 2022/2023 School Year. Specifically for Meadowbrook Intermediate, and Mustang Trails Elementary. As with everyone, innocent until proven guilty. When court documents start showing up, one of us will start posting them.

Update: According to different news reports, this case will be handled by the tribal system or in federal court, because Hunter is a Native American, and the alleged crime occurred on tribal land. This will be interesting to follow because of the McGirt ruling. Will justice prevail? We will see.

Well this case has proceeded quickly. The ex-SRO has been indicted and is in the custody of the US Marshals. He will appear in court on January 3rd 2024, in the US District Court (Eastern). Evidence appears pretty damning. Max sentence is life or the death penalty.

Now things have moved again. Hunter is trying to bring the victims criminal past into play by being able to say she is untrustworthy. Now there is a pretrial conference set for April 18th where that will be decided.

Hunter has pleaded guilty and will receive prison time according to the plea agreement. As of 9/24/24, the exact amount hasn't been set yet.
